About me

I’m Jack Schwuchow, a 17-year-old concert photographer and the creator behind Shots by Schwoak.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’ve spent the past few years capturing the energy and emotion of live music around the Bay Area.

I’ve had the opportunity to photograph many performances around the Bay Area, but most prominently, The Fillmore in San Francisco, where I’ve captured many of my favorite meaningful moments. From intimate performances to larger productions, I’m always looking for the unique moments that tell the story of a night and display the emotion shared in the venue.

My journey with photography started unexpectedly during my sophomore year of high school when I picked up a camera after a devastating concussion. I started my journey by taking photos of my friends playing baseball, and then photography quickly grew into a passion as it soon led me to photograph D1 college baseball around the Bay Area. But then in my junior year of high school, I decided to truly follow my passion for music, which created a path into the world of concert photography.

Through Shots by Schwoak, my goal is to follow my passion for music and use my creativity to preserve the moments that make live music so special.
